Summary table of provinces/territories allowing pharmacists to prescribes smoking/tobacco medications

Here is a summary table prepared by the Canadian Pharmacists Association of the provinces/territories permitting pharmacists to prescribe medications (eg Zyban, Champix) for smoking/tobacco cessation.

The table, revised Jan. 3, 2023, indicates that 10 of 13 provinces/territories permit pharmacists to do this.  The three that do not are BC, NWT and NU.  NWT is in progress.
