Substance Use and Addictions Program (SUAP): Call for Proposals

Building on previous efforts to develop innovative, community-led approaches, Budget 2023 includes $144M for SUAP to fund community-based supports, and evidence-based health interventions.

Through this 2023 national call for proposals (CFP), SUAP will fund projects that address substance use issues across the continuum of care.

Health Canada will hold an information session on October 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) to walk-through details such as, the Funding Priorities and how to complete an application. To register, email SUAP at: suap-puds@hc-sc.gc.ca with your interest to attend this session. Please provide your organization’s name, your email address and the province/territory in which your head office is located.

The deadline for applications is November 22, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST).
