Please note that Vitalité Health Network’s 6th Annual Nicotine Addiction Forum will take place on June 2nd, 2022. It is FREE to participate.
The event will occur in a virtual format using the Zoom platform and will be open to all Network employees, nursing staff, nurse practitioners, physicians and community partners. Simultaneous translation will be offered during the forum. Please see the PDF file attached for the formal invitation publicity.
List of major topics: Therapeutic approach and counselling for adolescents who vape, summary of evidence on vaping, medication interactions related to smoking tobacco, standardization of best practices in smoking cessation before surgery, motivational interview and stress management in patients with nicotine addiction, as well as a review of various case studies and related therapeutic interventions.
