On the 3rd week of every January National Non-Smoking Week starts off the new year by encouraging Canadians to go smoke-free.

The week’s goals are to:

  • Educate Canadians about the health risks of smoking
  • Support people in quitting smoking
  • Prevent people who don’t smoke from starting
  • Promote the right to breathe unpolluted air
  • Denormalize tobacco use and the tobacco industry

This year National Non-Smoking Week (NNSW) takes place from Sunday, January 19th till the 25th. Smoke and Vape Free NB strongly supports the benefits of a smoke and vape-free life and works to promote resources and information that can help people quit smoking or vaping and to make a plan to quit. NNSW is a great time to start your smoke and vape-free journey.
